About This Event

Join us for a slow and steady New Year’s Sunrise Hike and enjoy a moment of reflection, gratitude, and anticipation for the new year.

With the city spread out below, we’ll witness the last sunrise of the year, make breakfast and enjoy our warm drinks!

TRAIL RATING: Easy (374 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: 0.9 miles RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from team@winehikingsociety.com about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

GEAR:

• The Ten Essentials
• Proper clothing / layers for winter weather and hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Micro spikes depending on conditions (available to rent for $12, please e-mail admin@winehikingsociety.com to reserve)
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)

Your four-legged friends are welcome on this hike.
