I’ve been hiking with the Women’s Wine Hiking Society since June 2022, but I’ve been a member since 2021. Why did it take me a year to get brave enough to sign up for my first hike? Because, I was afraid I’d be the slowest hiker, that everyone would judge me, that I would be exiled from the group and never allowed on another hike. Sound familiar? Turns out, I was right. I was the slowest hiker. But guess what? I’m totally okay with that.
