About This Event

This hike is beautiful with a fresh coating of snow. Depending on the weather we will toast on the trail or head inside to set 2024 goals!

TRAIL RATING: Moderate (452 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: 3.1 miles RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from summitcounty.whs@gmail.com about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

GEAR:

• The Ten Essentials
• Proper clothing / layers for winter weather and hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Micro spikes (available to rent for $12, please e-mail admin@winehikingsociety.com to reserve)
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)

Your four-legged friends are welcome on this hike.
