About This Event

Let’s do some leaf peeping! Meet at the Brighton Ski Resort for a hike up to Dog, Mary, and Twin Lakes. Then back down and around Silver Lake. If we are lucky we may even spot a moose or two.

TRAIL RATING: Moderate (1,066 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: 3.9 miles RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from slcounty.whs@gmail.com about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

GEAR:

• The Ten Essentials
• Proper clothing / layers for fall weather and hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)

This hike is in a watershed area and dogs are not allowed so please leave your four-legged friends at home.
