About This Event

A short but rewarding hike filled with wildlife and aspen groves. With an early morning start, it’s the perfect trail to spot moose and deer.

We’ll stop at the lake for breakfast, an Irish coffee and to watch for wildlife.

TRAIL RATING: Moderate (633 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: 2.4 miles RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from [email protected] about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

GEAR:

• The Ten Essentials
• Proper clothing / layers for weather & hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)

Little Cottonwood Canyon is a watershed area and dogs are not allowed. Please leave you four legged friends at home for this one.
