No. UT: Spill the Tea with the Girls at Tibble Fork

About This Event

Join us for a moderate hike from Tibble Fork Reservoir up the closed road to Silver Lake Flat. Along the way, we’ll take in glorious winter views of the backside of Timpanogos and the frozen Tibble Fork — a picture-perfect winter landscape.

At the top, we’ll toast to another stunning frozen lake nestled in the mountains before heading back down. Let’s sip (and maybe spill) some hot tea as we celebrate sisterhood and winter magic.

If you joined the 2026 Wine Hiker Hiking Challenge, this counts as a winter and/or a lake hike!

TRAIL RATING: Moderate (~1, 200 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: ~7 miles RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from utahcounty.whs@gmail.com about 5–7 days before the event, which will include a link to join a private WhatsApp chat for carpool coordination and last-minute event updates.

GEAR:

• The Ten Essentials
• Proper clothing / layers for late summer weather and hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Micro-spikes, depending on conditions (available to rent for $12, please e-mail admin@winehikingsociety.com to reserve)
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)

Your four-legged friends are welcome on this hike as long as they are friendly toward other dogs and humans.
