About This Event
It’s National “Take a Hike Day”! If you haven’t joined us for a hike before, now is the perfect time to start. We’ll be exploring a gradually uphill trail that leads to the Salt Lake Overlook in Millcreek Canyon. Once we reach the top, we’ll take in the stunning views and enjoy the company of some amazing women.
Don’t miss out on this chance to get outdoors and connect with nature!
TRAIL RATING: Moderate (1,295 feet of elevation gain)
LENGTH: 4.8 miles RT
CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from newmember.whs@gmail.com about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

GEAR:
- The Ten Essentials
- Proper clothing / layers for weather and hiking conditions
- Proper footwear
- Headlamp
- Water and trail snacks
- Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
- Hiking poles (optional but recommended)
