About This Event

This trail is a gradual climb and offers views of Swaner Preserve and beyond. It’s not about the destination of Colin’s, but the journey itself.

So grab a “cocktail” of choice and join us as we unwind in nature and make new friends!

TRAIL RATING: Moderate (803 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: 3.6 miles RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from summitcounty.whs@gmail.com about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

GEAR:

• The Ten Essentials
• Proper clothing / layers for weather and hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)
