Tiffanie Roberts
A Tucson native, Tiffanie recently returned home in 2023 after being away since 2000. She’s a third-generation University of Arizona Wildcat but is also a proud mom to two daughters—one a Sun Devil and the other a Buckeye. Now adjusting to life as an out-of-work stay-at-home mom, Tiffanie is finding herself again and reconnecting with the things she loves.
She’s a dedicated community volunteer, spending time supporting books (Tucson Festival of Books), babies (CASA and TMC-NICU), and horses (Therapeutic Riding of Tucson). Outdoor adventure runs in her blood—literally! Her hiking story began before she was even born, when her dad made history by completing a continuous hike of the Rincon and Catalina Mountains while her mom met him at support stops—pregnant with Tiffanie!
Tiffanie grew up hiking and camping around Tucson and on family vacations. After some time living in Ohio, she’s excited to be back in the desert and on the trails. For her, hiking is more than just a hobby—it’s part of who she is.
Tiffanie’s Favorite Hike: “In Tucson my favorite is Blackett’s Ridge, it is close to my parents’ home so we did it frequently growing up – we even hiked up and camped on the top to watch Halley’s Comet in 1986. When it’s too hot to hike in Tucson I love the Aspen Loop on Mt. Lemmon.”
Tiffanie’s Favorite Wine or Drink: “Cabernet Sauvignon is my favorite wine. Favorite drink is usually tequila, spicy margaritas for the win!”
Tiffanie’s Favorite Hiking / Backpacking Gear: “My favorite piece of hiking gear is my Camelbak; it’s the best way I have found to keep hydrated while hiking.
