Teresa Peters
A Utah native, Teresa was born and raised in small-town Nephi, Utah. She eventually moved to Bountiful, which is about 20 minutes north of Salt Lake City. In 2019, she moved to southern Utah. Teresa is retired and loves camping, hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends.
Growing up in a small town, Teresa’s family would camp and hike quite a bit. It was her friend and fellow ambassador Wendy Wood who got Teresa into hiking down in southern Utah.
Teresa says that getting out and hiking gives her the perfect reset, helping her ground herself and clear her mind. Through the Wine Hiking Society, Teresa has enjoyed getting to know others that love the great outdoors and enjoys getting to know new people and hearing about their lives and experiences.
Teresa’s favorite hike: “I don’t know that I like one particular hike. Every hike provides something different and exciting.”
Teresa’s favorite drink: White wines or Vodka Tonic
