Kristi Kimble
Kristi grew up in the great state of Indiana. After high school, she moved to Florida and went to college at University of Central Florida. From there, she moved to Massachusetts and New York before settling in Utah 19 years ago. Kristi has been in education for 15 years and is currently a Physical Science instructor at Western Governors University.
Kristi grew up in a very flat area but always loved being outdoors. Once she moved to Utah, she started hiking and enjoying the state, but not as regularly as she liked. Over the past 5 to 8 years, hiking has become something that helps her reset and appreciate the beauty of life. She loves challenging herself and getting out of her own head. Hiking has helped Kristi reconnect to who she is while being in nature.
When Kristi isn’t hiking, she is skiing, doing any type of water sport, practicing Muay Thai, or hanging out with her dogs and adult children.
Kristi’s favorite hike: “This changes a lot but currently it would be Little Wild Horse.”
Kristi’s favorite drink: “I love a good Bee’s Knees or Pinot Noir.”
Kristi’s favorite hiking or backpacking gear: “My pack. I like to have lots of things with me, and my pack holds it all, including snacks and drinks. You have to have snacks :)”
