Kelly Foster
Kelly is a mom of two amazing kids and has a deep love for anything related to the outdoors. Whether she’s sitting in the woods, gardening until her hands are numb, or exploring new trails, Kelly finds peace and joy in nature.
She works as a Senior Care Advocate for a company that helps crowdfund healthcare costs, showing her passion for helping others in need. Kelly’s love for trails comes from her mom, who always dreamed of hiking the Appalachian Trail. This connection to nature has shaped Kelly’s dream of traveling just to hike, experiencing the adventure, sounds, and challenges that trails offer.
For Kelly, every hike, no matter how small, is rewarding. The outdoors open her heart, and she’s excited to share that love with the community!
Kelly’s favorite hike: “The Pickle Creek Trail at Hawn State Park in Farmington Missouri. Really special memories for me there.”
Kelly’s favorite drink: “I am a sober girl, so mine is a mocktail spicy margarita. Yum!”
Kelly’s favorite piece of hiking or backpacking gear: “Mine is my everyday backpack that I use for hiking. It has gone on so many adventures with me and has carried so many things for me. Hiking in Southeast Texas does not generally require a lot of big equipment, so a sturdy, light backpack is perfect.”
