Cindy Vance

Born and raised in the breathtaking landscapes of Montana, Cindy Vance has always had a strong connection with the outdoors. Cindy moved to Utah at 20 and quickly fell in love with the state’s unparalleled natural beauty. From mountain peaks to red rock canyons, Utah offers everything an avid outdoor enthusiast could dream of, including five world-renowned national parks. Now, Cindy can’t imagine calling anywhere else home.

Cindy’s appreciation for the outdoors blossomed into a full-blown passion in her late 20s when she embarked on her first backpacking trip in Southern Utah. In 2022, after losing both her parents within just a couple months of each other, Cindy realized it was time for a change. She made the bold decision to leave behind a demanding 30-year career in commercial property management to focus on the Wine Hiking Society full-time. Life, after all, is simply too short not to chase your dreams!

With a Bachelor of Science in Economics and an MBA, Cindy now channels her expertise into the Women’s Wine Hiking Society, supporting its mission to inspire women in the outdoors. Her hobbies and passions include hiking, backpacking, camping, paddleboarding, and being the “cool” aunt – always joking that she hopes her nieces and nephews will visit her in the “old folks’ home” when the time comes!

Cindy is certified in wilderness first aid and adult first aid/CPR/AED.
