Aimee Stevens
Although originally from Pennsylvania, Aimee discovered her love for hiking in North Carolina as a way to regain her strength following surgery. In 2020, she relocated to Utah and joined the Utah chapter of the Wine Hiking Society (WHS).
In October 2021, Aimee went on the WHS Beginner’s Backpacking trip to Canyonlands National Park. After that, Aimee was hooked. She became the WHS community service ambassador and led monthly volunteer events.
Aimee made lifelong friendships through the WHS. Since moving to Georgia in early 2023, she has been exploring the North Georgia mountains and hiking with some friends around Athens. Aimee was our first Georgia ambassador, leading hikes in the surrounding Atlanta area and helping women meet lots of new friends and explore their state. In 2025, Aimee started a new job and moved to Savannah.
Aimee has been married to her soulmate, Jared, since 2010. Their family includes a beloved pit bull named Mooney, who often accompanies Aimee on their hiking adventures. Aimee has a passion for all things artistic and creative. When she’s not hiking, she enjoys traveling and hosting gatherings for friends and family.
Aimee’s Favorite Hike: “I keep finding my new favorite almost monthly, but I’d have to say my first hike in Zion is my current favorite – Overlook Canyon Trail.”
Aimee’s Favorite Wine or Drink: Pinot Grigio
Aimee’s Favorite Hiking / Backpacking Gear: “My Rumpl synthetic down blanket/ so much do that I bought one for each of us because Mooney kept stealing mine!”
