About This Event

Join Megan Morin-Long for a 2-hour virtual class on wilderness first aid (WFA). Megan has a bachelor’s degree in anthropology, a bachelor’s degree in nursing, a master’s degree in nursing education, and a professional certification as an ER nurse. She currently works for the University of Utah as a nursing professional developer on the Critical Care Team, training other ER and ICU nurses on, as Megan put it, “the finer art of not letting people die.”

Megan has a background in forensics and emergency medicine and a penchant for being a know-it-all when it comes to emergencies. She is your go-to gal for medical crises. Megan is also certified in Wilderness Medicine and uses that knowledge to over-pack for every camping expedition she goes on, driving her husband and children crazy. Megan said it’s okay because her dog gets her. It’s fair to say we wine hikers get her too.
