Join WHS Ambassador Tissiana Peterson for an urban stroll along the Murdock Canal Trail.

The Murdock Canal Trail is a scenic trail located in Utah County, Utah, that follows the route of an old irrigation canal. The trail is approximately 17 miles long and winds through stunning natural landscapes, offering breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys along the way. It’s a popular destination for hikers, joggers and is known for its peaceful ambiance and diverse wildlife. The trail is also dotted with several access points and rest areas, making it a great option for both short and long outings.

TRAIL RATING: Easy (300 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: We will stroll as long as the group wants!

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from team@winehikingsociety.com about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

GEAR:

• The Ten Essentials
• Proper clothing / layers for spring hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)

Four-legged friends are welcome on this stroll.
