About This Event
A High Uintas winner is the hike to Ibantik Lake. While only 4.5 miles from a trailhead, it feels like it’s deep in the wilderness. And with 5+ lakes along the way, plus some great mountain views, it’s an alpine paradise!
TRAIL RATING: Moderate (1,118 feet of elevation gain)
LENGTH: 8.4 miles RT
CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from summitcounty.whs@gmail.com about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

GEAR:
- The Ten Essentials
- Proper clothing / layers for fall hiking conditions & weather
- Proper footwear
- Water and trail snacks
- Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
- Hiking poles (optional but recommended)
Four-legged friends are welcome on this hike.
Happy Hour Beverage (recommended for event): Bring a hard seltzer for a refreshing, tasty and super easy drink.
