Join Ambassador Sam Clowers for a short hike on the wild rose trail, the perfect way to break up the holiday grind!

A short loop above North Salt Lake and a fabulous place and time of year to enjoy a Hot Toddy!

TRAIL RATING: Easy (344 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: 2 miles RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from daviswebercounty.whs@gmail.com about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

GEAR:

• The Ten Essentials
• Proper clothing / layers for winter weather and hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Micro spikes depending on conditions (available to rent for $12, please e-mail admin@winehikingsociety.com to reserve)
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)
