No. Utah: 4th of July Hike to Silver Lake (AF)

About This Event

Silver Lake in American Fork is a popular hike that has beautiful views of the backside of Mount Timpanogas, passes by waterfalls, and ends at a beautiful high alpine lake. It is a moderate hike so we will start early to beat the heat and the crowds, but we will take our time and enjoy some festive drinks once we get to the lake!

TRAIL RATING: Moderate (1,433 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: 4.7 miles RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from [email protected] about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

• Proper clothing / layers for summer hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)
