About This Event

Join us for a short but moderate hike in the foothills above North Salt Lake… as a fun break to your holiday chaos plan to wear your favorite ugly sweater!

TRAIL RATING: Moderate (344 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: 2 miles RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from [email protected] about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

GEAR:

• The Ten Essentials
• Proper clothing / layers for weather and hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Micro spikes depending on conditions (available to rent for $12, please e-mail [email protected] to reserve)
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)
