No. UT: Tequila Sunsets on Tibble Fork Loop

About This Event

Come enjoy an early fall evening in the mountains as we hike the Tibble Fork Loop Trail. Though a bit of a misnomer, this trail offers only fleeting glimpses of Tibble Fork Reservoir. Instead, it winds through a stunning loop of aspen groves, alpine meadows, and towering pines—offering incredible views of the surrounding peaks along the way. If we’re lucky, we might even catch some early fall colors. So mix up a Tequila Sunset (or your drink of choice), and let’s toast to sunset on this magical trail.

TRAIL RATING:  Moderate (1,102 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: 4.2 miles RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from utahcounty.whs@gmail.com about 5–7 days before the event, which will include a link to join a private WhatsApp chat for carpool coordination and last-minute event updates.

• Proper clothing / layers for weather & hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)

Four-legged friends are welcome on this hike as long as they are friendly towards other dogs and humans.
