Technically, it’s not summer YET but we are getting a head start on bagging peaks for the summer of 2026!
Join Cherie for the kickoff to the summer of peak bagging in Millcreek Canyon and a toast at the peak to kick off our great summer of adventures that lie ahead!

TRAIL RATING: Hard (2,634 feet of elevation gain) – To join this hard hike, you should be able to average 40-minute miles. While we don’t leave anyone behind, it is important to know your capabilities. That way, you do not put yourself or anyone else in danger. If this hike isn’t for you, no worries! We have lots of awesome hikes that are rated easy and moderate. Search for one here.
LENGTH: 6.4 miles RT
CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from slcounty.whs@gmail.com about 5-7 days before the event for coordination. This email will include a link to join a private WhatsApp chat for carpool coordination and last-minute event updates.

- Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
