About This Event
White Pine Trail in LCC is a bucket-list hike that earns its “hard” rating for its length rather than steepness. The trail follows an old jeep road, making the path long but with a relatively gradual grade. From this parking lot, most folks head to Gloria Falls or up to Red Pine Lake, skipping the long, beautiful, and quiet White Pine Lake trail.
After our long hike up, we’ll replenish our electrolytes with Ranch Water Cocktails, take in the stunning view, share some good conversation, and make our way down at a relaxed pace. This promises to be a great hike. Let’s get an early start, as this parking lot fills up quickly on any weekend day. Plus, we can take our time and savor this beautiful trail!
TRAIL RATING: Hard (2,719 feet of elevation gain) – To join this hard hike, you should be able to average 40-minute miles. While we don’t leave anyone behind, it is important to know your capabilities. That way, you do not put yourself or anyone else in danger. If this hike isn’t for you, no worries! We have lots of awesome hikes that are rated easy and moderate. Search for one here.
