About This Event

Primrose Overlook is one of Utah County’s most breathtaking fall hikes, winding through meadow after meadow of golden aspens before reaching a stunning viewpoint overlooking Sundance. With sweeping high-alpine vistas and a trail that’s mostly a moderate climb—aside from a few steeper sections—it’s a rewarding route for most hikers.

At the top, we’ll raise a toast to fall with a delicious cocktail inspired by the namesake flower of Primrose Cirque.

TRAIL RATING: Moderate (830 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: 3.3 miles RT

• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)

Your four-legged friends are welcome on this hike as long as they are friendly toward other dogs and humans.
