No. UT: Primrose cocktails and the Primrose Overlook

About This Event

Evening is the best time to enjoy the view from this spot. The hike passes through beautiful alpine meadows and groves of aspens before coming to a great overlook of the Primrose Cirque. It’s made up of sections of mellow climbing with only a few steeper sections making it a great trail for all.

A primrose cocktail will be the perfect sunset treat to enjoy here. Let’s go!

TRAIL RATING: Moderate (800 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: ~3 miles RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from utahcounty.whs@gmail.com about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

GEAR:

• The Ten Essentials
• Proper clothing / layers for weather conditions
• Proper footwear
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)
