About This Event

Pine Hollow Trail is a beautiful trail climbing 1300 feet in about 2 miles. It traverses through flowers, meadows, forests, and tops out with beautiful views of the backside of Mt Timp and offers views down into Heber Valley.

Bring your friends, your dog, and some chilled white wine to enjoy for a sunset evening in the mountains.

If you registered for our 2024 Wine Hiking Society Hiking Challenge this hike qualifies as a sunset hike and/or a WHS day hike event.

TRAIL RATING: Moderate (1,305 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: 4.5 miles RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from utahcounty.whs@gmail.com about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

• Proper clothing / layers for summer weather and hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)
