About This Event

With the city spread out below, we’ll witness one of the last sunrises of the year as we make breakfast and enjoy our warm drinks.

It’s a moment of reflection, gratitude, and anticipation for the new year.

TRAIL RATING: Moderate (374 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: ~1 mile RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from slowandsteady.whs@gmail.com about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

GEAR:

• The Ten Essentials
• Proper clothing / layers for weather & hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Micro spikes depending on conditions (available to rent for $12, please e-mail admin@winehikingsociety.com to reserve)
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)

Your four-legged friends are welcome on this hike but must be friendly towards other dogs and humans.
