About This Event

Perfect if you don’t ski, this Après hike will guide us on groomed trails to the panoramic vistas of Park City’s ski resorts!

Round Valley, a snow paradise with never ending groomed connecting trails, will connect us as friends along the way.

If you registered for our 2024 Wine Hiking Society Hiking Challenge this hike qualifies as a WHS day hike event. Want to join the challenge? Sign up here!

TRAIL RATING: Moderate (518 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: 5.25 miles RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from summitcounty.whs@gmail.com about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

GEAR:

• The Ten Essentials
• Proper clothing / layers for winter weather and hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Micro spikes depending on conditions (available to rent for $12, please e-mail admin@winehikingsociety.com to reserve)
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)

Four-legged friends are welcome on this hike but must be friendly toward other dogs and people!

Happy Hour Beverage (recommended for event): Après Apple Cider
