About This Event
Want to to check Mt. Olympus off your bucket list but not so sure about the super sketchy scramble to the top? No worries! Join your fellow goddesses for this VERY CHALLENGING hike to the Mt. Olympus saddle.
We guarantee the views will be just as heavenly!
TRAIL RATING: Hard (3,533 feet of elevation gain) – To join this hard hike, you should be able to average 40-minute miles. While we don’t leave anyone behind, it is important to know your capabilities. That way, you do not put yourself or anyone else in danger. If this hike isn’t for you, no worries! We have lots of awesome hikes that are rated easy and moderate. Search for one here.
LENGTH: 6.5 miles RT
CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from slcounty.whs@gmail.com about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

GEAR:
- The Ten Essentials
- Proper clothing / layers for late spring weather and hiking conditions
- Proper footwear
- Water and trail snacks
- Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
- Hiking poles (optional but recommended)
Your four-legged friends are welcome on this hike.
