About This Event
Primrose Overlook is one of the best fall hikes in Utah County, traversing meadow after meadow of aspens before reaching a stunning viewpoint overlooking Sundance.
High alpine views abound, and while the trail includes a couple of steeper stretches, it mostly follows a moderate climb—making it a great option for many hikers.
At the top, we’ll toast to fall with a delicious cocktail named after the same flower as Primrose Cirque.
TRAIL RATING: Moderate (830 feet of elevation gain)
LENGTH: 3.3 miles RT
CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from utahcounty.whs@gmail.com about 5–7 days before the event, which will include a link to join a private WhatsApp chat for carpool coordination and last-minute event updates.
