About This Event

Join Ambassador Sam Clowers for this fun and beautiful hike on the hillside above the North Salt Lake valley.

This trail approaches Ensign Peak from the back side and has some steep sections but still makes for an enjoyable hike in the hills!

TRAIL RATING: Moderate (1,105 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: 6.4 miles RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from daviswebercounty.whs@gmail.com about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

• The Ten Essentials
• Proper clothing / layers for spring weather and hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)
