Baby it’s cold outside! Grab your cold weather gear and warm up on this short, fun hike over the Bear Canyon Suspension Bridge!

TRAIL RATING: Easy (439 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: 2.3 miles RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from [email protected] about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

GEAR:

• The Ten Essentials
• Proper clothing / layers for winter weather and hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Micro spikes depending on conditions (available to rent for $12, please e-mail [email protected] to reserve)
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)

Your four-legged friends are welcome on this hike.
