Join ambassador Cynthia Lazzara for a book club brunch created especially for the Age 50+ crew!

We’ll be reading Take Less, Do More: Surprising Life Lessons in Generosity, Gratitude, and Curiosity from an Ultralight Backpacker by Glen Van Paski, then gathering on April 26 at The Back 40 Ranch House Grill in Heber City to chat, connect, and share our takeaways over a delicious brunch.

This easy, insightful read will resonate with anyone who’s ever wanted to lighten their real—or figurative—load. Van Peski, founder of Gossamer Gear, shares stories that highlight how generosity and human connection shaped his success. From hosting an annual backpacking “mixer” through Paria Canyon (Matthew McConaughey even joined one year!) to working part-time as a dishwasher in Bend, Oregon after retiring, the stories are relatable, thought-provoking, and often surprising.

Expect great conversation, meaningful connections, and plenty of laughs as we enjoy good food and even better company.
