Join SLC Ambassador Cherie for our 2nd Annual Galentine’s Day Hike, where the only thing steeper than the trail will be our hot toddies! Because nothing says “I love my friends” like a little cardio and cocktails.

Bundle up and come enjoy a crisp morning on the trail, complete with warm drinks, laughter, and great company. We’ll hike to the beautiful Lower Bell Canyon Reservoir, soaking in the views (and the good vibes) along the way.

Don’t forget to wear pink or red to celebrate Galentine’s  in style!

If you joined the 2026 Wine Hiker Hiking Challenge, this counts as a WHS day hike and/or a winter hike!

TRAIL RATING:  Moderate (495 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: 2.4 miles RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from [email protected] about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

GEAR:

• The Ten Essentials
• Proper clothing / layers for weather and hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Micro spikes depending on conditions (available to rent for $12, please e-mail [email protected] to reserve)
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)

Bells Canyon is a watershed area and dogs are not allowed. Please leave your four-legged friends at home for this one!
