About This Event
This is a fun and popular hike just south of Lake Winnipesaukee. While not considered strenuous, this trail does include steeper sections and some light scrambling, so sturdy footwear and comfort with uneven terrain are important. At the summit, we’ll find a wide, open space that’s perfect for enjoying snacks, sharing drinks, socializing, and soaking in the views.
Peak fall colors are expected, making this a beautiful way to wrap up New Hampshire’s foliage season!
TRAIL RATING: Moderate (1154 feet of elevation gain)
LENGTH: 3.9 miles RT
CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from [email protected] about 5-7 days before the event for coordination. This email will include a link to join a private WhatsApp chat for carpool coordination and last-minute event updates.
Since this area is a hot spot in the fall, plan to arrive at the trailhead parking lot between 8:30–9:00am to secure a spot. We’ll meet in the lot (porta-potties available) before setting out together.
