Cinco De Mayo at Battle Creek

About This Event

Join us for our annual Cinco de Mayo hike. We will hike up past the waterfall for as far as everyone is comfortable and then return to the picnic area for a festive potluck.

If you registered for our 2023 Wine Hiking Society Hiking Challenge this hike qualifies as a waterfall hike & a WHS day hike (two for one). Want to join the challenge? Sign up here!

TRAIL RATING: Moderate (1,200 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: 3 miles RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from utahcounty.whs@gmail.com about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

GEAR:

• The Ten Essentials
• Proper clothing / layers for spring hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)

Four-legged friends are welcome on this hike.
