We get it.

You’ve seen pictures of people backpacking in beautiful, remote places and have wanted to try it yourself but . . .

You don’t know where to start. How do you know where to go? What to pack? What to eat? How to stay safe?

You don’t have the gear. Gear is expensive! Besides, what all do you need to bring? How do you know which gear to buy?

You have only backpacked once or have only gone with other people and lack the confidence or experience to do it again. Maybe you went with your boyfriend / husband / dad / brother and they took care of everything.

You see women getting into the backcountry with other women, and you see how strong and empowered they look and you want to feel that way too.

We get it because we’ve been there too.

That’s why we’ve created this guided beginner backpacking trip for women.

About This Event

There’s something so empowering about heading into the backcountry as a woman with only the gear on your back and other women beside you. However, we know firsthand how intimidating it can be for women to get into backpacking.

Therefore, we invite you to experience this women-only backpacking trip in a safe, supportive space with other beginners like YOU.

Join Angelique Fish and Cindy Vance for an unforgettable weekend in the remote, pristine backcountry of Canyonlands National Park.

PLEASE NOTE:

We have a strict cancellation policy. This is because of a few reasons. First, we split gear and count on having an even number of attendees so that gear (and, therefore, weight) can be evenly distributed. Second, we spend countless hours getting each attendee prepared for the trip. Finding a replacement and getting them up to speed takes a lot of time and work on our part.

Reservations are non-transferable. Cancellations prior to July 1, 2024, will be eligible for a full refund minus a $75 convenience fee. Cancellations prior to July 16, 2024, will be eligible for a 50% refund minus a $75 convenience fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after July 15, 2024. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Because of our strict cancellation policy, we STRONGLY recommend purchasing travel insurance. Here is one option: https://www.allianztravelinsurance.com/. (We do not work directly with this company. It is up to the attendees to ensure the policy provides the coverage needed / wanted.)
