AZ Tuc: Strawberry Moon Full Moon Night Hike

About This Event

Let’s enjoy the sunset and moonrise of the full “strawberry moon” on the Sabino Canyon tram road. When we get to the top of the tram road, we’ll toast with strawberry wine or your beverage of choice.

TRAIL RATING: Moderate (734feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: 7.4 miles RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from [email protected] about 5-7 days before the event for coordination. Parking does require a National Parks pass, but we will help coordinate that when we coordinate carpooling.

• Proper clothing / layers for summer evening hiking conditions

• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
