About This Event

Join WHS co-founders Cindy & Angelique for our 5th Annual International Wine Hike & Tasting Party! Get ready to taste 12 wines from all over the world without leaving Utah!

We’ll hike to the Salt Lake Overlook via Desolation Trail in Millcreek Canyon and then gather at Edmund Ellsworth Group Site (South Box Elder Picnic Area) for an International Wine & Food Share!

A WhatsApp Chat will be created for attendees to coordinate which country they’ll present and bring wine and snacks!

COST INCLUDES: Swag bag full of fun goodies!

TRAIL RATING: Moderate (1,279 ft elevation gain)

LENGTH: 4.6 miles RT

CARPOOLING: If you want to carpool, watch for an email from [email protected] about one week before the event for coordination.

GEAR:

• Ten Essentials
• Proper clothing / layers for weather and hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)

Due to the nature of this event, please leave you four-legged friends at home.

NOTE: Reservations are non-transferable. Cancellations prior to September 1, 2024, will be eligible for a full refund less a $10 convenience fee. Cancellations prior to September 16, 2024, will be eligible for a 50% refund less a $10 convenience fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after September 15, 2024.
