Escape the summer heat as we scout our way to the cool mist of Scout Falls.

Enjoy a nice shaded trail, flowing water, and a refreshing waterfall reward at the end!

TRAIL RATING: Moderate (833 feet of elevation gain)
LENGTH: 3 mile RT
CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from slowandsteady.whs@gmail.com about 5–7 days before the event, which will include a link to join a private WhatsApp chat for carpool coordination and last-minute event updates.

GEAR:

- Proper clothing / layers for weather & hiking conditions
- Proper footwear
- Water and trail snacks
- Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
- Hiking poles (optional but recommended)
- Headlamp
Your four-legged friends are welcome as long as they are friendly towards humans and other pups!
NOTE: Trail is very narrow in some sections and may be difficult with dogs.
