About This Event
If you want to meet a great group of women and make quick friends to hike with, this group is the way to go! Join us on this easy yet beautiful morning hike that includes some of the best petroglyphs in the area.
We’ll meet at the Northern Anasazi Trailhead, stop halfway for an early Cinco de Mayo celebration with a Mexican Mimosa, and then explore some magnificent petroglyphs and enjoy views of the Santa Clara River valley.
TRAIL RATING: Easy (332 feet of elevation gain)
LENGTH: 2.9 miles RT
CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from soutcommunity.whs@gmail.com about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

GEAR:
- The Ten Essentials
- Proper clothing / layers for spring weather and hiking conditions
- Proper footwear
- Water and trail snacks
- Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
- Hiking poles (optional but recommended)
Dogs are allowed so feel free to bring along your four-legged friend.
