So. UT: Zion’s Observation Point with Blackberry Margaritas!

About This Event

Come with us to Zion NP before the big summer crowds hit on an iconic trail and possibly the best view in the park!

Even if you’ve hiked this trail before, hiking with our members means fun from the first step to the last! At Observation Point we’ll set up the bar and buffet and soak in the spring sun and epic scenery!

TRAIL RATING: Moderate (702 feet of elevation gain)

LENGTH: 7 miles RT

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from southernutah.whs@gmail.com about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

GEAR:

• The Ten Essentials
• Proper clothing / layers for early spring weather and hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)

This trail is not dog friendly so please leave your four-legged friend at home.
