No. UT: Waterfall Hike in Heughs Canyon ~ Age 50+

About This Event

The women of the 50+ crew will be hoofing it up Heughs Canyon to the waterfall. It’s a beautiful hike tucked around the corner of the canyon so it feels a million miles away from the city.

We’ll relax and connect as we waterfall our ABC’s (Anything But Chardonnay). SUCH FUN!

TRAIL RATING: HARD (1,236 feet of elevation gain) – To join this hard hike, you should be able to average 40-minute miles. While we don’t leave anyone behind, it is important to know your capabilities. That way, you do not put yourself or anyone else in danger. If this hike isn’t for you, no worries! We have lots of awesome hikes that are rated easy and moderate. Search for one here.

CARPOOLING: Watch for an email from over50.whs@gmail.com about 5-7 days before the event for coordination.

• Proper clothing / layers for spring weather & conditions
• Proper footwear
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)
