No. UT: Bee’s Knees at Battle Creek

About This Event

Battle Creek Falls is an impressive 50 foot waterfall that will be raging with spring snow melt. The trail is short but climbs moderately steeply on loose gravel near the stream almost the entire way.

It is only 0.5 mile to the Falls but we will plan on continuing up past the other smaller falls until reaching a wide spot at the Curly Springs Junction to sip our drinks and take a break before heading back down the trail. This will show off all the highlights of the canyon as there is plenty to see past the main waterfall!

TRAIL RATING: Moderate/Hard depending on fitness level (1,00 feet of elevation gain) – To join this hike, you should be able to average 40-minute miles. While we don’t leave anyone behind, it is important to know your capabilities. That way, you do not put yourself or anyone else in danger. If this hike isn’t for you, no worries! We have lots of awesome hikes that are rated easy and moderate. Search for one here.

• Proper clothing / layers for spring weather and hiking conditions
• Proper footwear
• Water and trail snacks
• Something lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e., a backpacking chair, rain jacket, plastic bag, etc.)
• Hiking poles (optional but recommended)
