DESCRIPTION:About This Event\nThree Falls Trail in Alpine is a beautiful hike\, especially in the late spring when the yellow flowers are blooming!  The trail features numerous vistas of Corner Canyon (the Alpine side) and Utah Valley as it follows a slow but steady climb up into the canyon.  \nIt ends at an overlook of “Three Falls\,” a series of short\, narrow cascades that will be raging with snowmelt.  \nBring along a margarita and maybe some festive snacks to enjoy when we take a break and celeberate Cinco De Mayo.  \n\n— \n\nTRAIL RATING:  Moderate (859 feet of elevation gain) \nLENGTH: 4.8 miles RT \nCARPOOLING: Watch for an email from utahcounty.whs@gmail.com about 5–7 days before the event\, which will include a link to join a private WhatsApp chat for carpool coordination and last-minute event updates. \nALLTRAILS LINK: Three Falls Trail via Three Falls Ranch Trailhead \nGEAR: \n\nThe Ten Essentials\nItems on the Day Hike Packing List\nProper clothing / layers for weather & hiking conditions\nProper footwear\nWater and trail snacks\nSomething lightweight to sit on while we stop to eat and drink (i.e.\, a backpacking chair\, rain jacket\, plastic bag\, etc.)\nHiking poles (optional but recommended)\nHeadlamp\n\n  \nFour-legged friends are welcome on this hike as long as they are friendly towards other dogs and humans. \n  \nHappy Hour Beverage (recommended for event): Margaritas! \nALCOHOL NOT INCLUDED \n—
