SUMMARY:No. UT: Hiking & Healing - Removing Chaos and Finding Clarity through Campfire Coaching
DESCRIPTION:About Hiking & Healing\nJoin us for our first Hiking & Healing event of 2026\, an elevated hiking experience through which wine hikers can connect deeply with nature\, other hikers\, and themselves. The Hiking & Healing Series will include a mix of guest speakers\, workshops\, activities\, and coaching to facilitate growth\, connection\, and empowerment. \nSo\, come enjoy an evening hike\, a glass of wine\, and a snack as author and coach Kristen Johnson walks you through what it looks like to stop living on impulse\, stop outsourcing your worth\, and start making decisions that actually align with who you are. \n  \nAbout Our Guest Speaker\nKristen Johnson is the co-founder of Progression For Life\, a bold\, experience-driven approach that blends outdoor environments\, neuroscience\, and real-life truth to help people reconnect with themselves. She is also the author of doIToutside: F*ck Comfort. Find Fire. Start Over.\, where she combines survival skills\, mindset work\, and personal experience to guide women from chaos to clarity—on the trail and in life. \nShe believes clarity doesn’t come from sitting still—it comes from getting honest\, getting uncomfortable\, and finally listening to what your internal compass has been trying to tell you all along. Through hiking experiences\, campfire coaching\, and direct\, no-BS conversations\, Kristen challenges people to stop outsourcing their worth and start making decisions that actually align with who they are. \nHer work isn’t for everyone. But if you’re ready to get real\, it might be exactly what you need. \n  \nAbout This Event\nAfter the short hike up to Lake Mary\, we will stop\, not just to catch our breath but to get real. This is where the Empowerment Campfire Coaching happens. We will gather around\, in the wild\, exactly where growth actually happens—not in a room\, not behind a screen\, but outside\, uncomfortable\, present\, and honest. This experience is built directly from “The Compass Within” chapter of Kristen’s book. You won’t just hear it—you’ll live it. \nKristen will give you a short journal and will walk you through Trail Notes and Campfire Coaching prompts together. This is where you will \n\nSay the thing you’ve been avoiding\nCall out the belief that’s been quietly running your life.\nGet honest about where you’re out of alignment.\nStart listening to your internal compass again.\n\nNo fluff. No pretending. No hiding. Just real conversation\, real reflection\, and real clarity. \nWe hike in together\, do the work at the top\, and hike back down different than we came up. \n  \nAbout the Hike\nTRAIL RATING: Moderate (784 feet of elevation gain) \nLENGTH: 2.3 miles RT \nCARPOOLING: Watch for an email from admin@winehikingsociety.com about 5–7 days before the event\, which will include a link to join a private WhatsApp chat for carpool coordination and last-minute event updates. \nALLTRAILS LINK: Lake Mary Trail \nGEAR: \n\nThe Ten Essentials\nItems on the Day Hike Packing List\nProper clothing / layers for weather and hiking conditions\nProper footwear\nWater and trail snacks\nSomething lightweight to sit on while we listen to the guest speaker (i.e.\, a backpacking chair\, rain jacket\, plastic bag\, etc.)\n\n  \nUnless your four-legged friend can take notes\, your four-legged friend will need to stay home. Plus\, this hike is in a watershed where dogs are not allowed. \n  \nRecommended Beverage: Cabernet (for clarity & removal of chaos) \nALCOHOL & FOOD NOT INCLUDED \n
