While we won’t be tackling the full 8 miles shown in the AllTrails link below\, we promise you’ll get a solid workout\, great conversation\, and plenty of trail time to connect. \nDog-friendly & shaded\, this hike is ideal for both two- and four-legged adventurers. DESCRIPTION:About This Event\n\n\n\n\nWe’re embarking on a beautiful hike that connects the Catherine’s Pass trailhead\, crossing over to Brighton. Along the way\, we’ll have the option to summit Sunset Peak and take a leisurely stroll past the picturesque “Catholic Girl” lakes: Mary\, Martha\, and Catherine. This hike is a stunning reminder of the natural beauty the Wasatch Range has to offer. \nLogistics are key for this hike\, so we’ll meet at Brighton and carpool to Alta to start. After the hike\, we’ll ensure everyone with cars at Alta gets back to their vehicles at Brighton. \n\n\n\n\n— \nTRAIL RATING: Hard (1\,975 feet of elevation gain) – To join this hard hike\, you should be able to average 40-minute miles. While we don’t leave anyone behind\, it is important to know your capabilities. That way\, you do not put yourself or anyone else in danger. If this hike isn’t for you\, no worries! We have lots of awesome hikes that are rated easy and moderate.
