SUMMARY:Sound the Alarm - Save a Life
DESCRIPTION:About This Event\nJoin the American Red Cross and WHS Ambassador Alison to install free smoke alarms in our community. \nJust one day of your life can change someone else’s life forever. Home fires claim seven lives every day\, but having working smoke alarms can cut the risk of death by half. That’s why the American Red Cross rallys volunteers to install free smoke alarms nationwide as part of their Sound the Alarm event. \nThis year the installations will be in the Layton area. We will meet at 9AM for a brief training on how to install and then the Red Cross will direct us on where to go. \nWatch for an e-mail from volunteering.whs@gmail.com 5-7 days before the event for additional details. \nMore details to come closer to the event.
